The Guam Coral Reef Initiative proudly presents the first Guam Coral Reef Symposium to celebrate Earth
Week 2008. The event is free and open to the public. This is a great opportunity to interact with local
researchers and resource managers. So bring your questions for the panelists.
Presenters include personnel from University of Guam Marine Laboratory and Water and Environmental
Research Institute (WERI), Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Statistics and Plans - Guam Coastal
Management Program, and others.
Also, a camera and technical assistance will be available for those wishing to film a Public Service
Announcement for the Year of the Reef PSA contest.
