| Guam Year of the Reef 2008 - Community PSA Contest Deadline Extended to May 5th! Click here to fill out the entry form. Get involved and show the island your creative talent! Design a Public Service Announcement about Guam's Reefs for the Guam Year of the Reef 2008!! Technical Trouble or Lack of a Camera keeping you from entering? Come film your PSA live at the EcoExpo on April 18th or Guam Coral Reef Symposium on April 19th. Just bring your cast, script, and props - we'll provide a camera and technical assistance. Questions Call Val at 735-4032. Entries can be in any style, but must fit into one of two categories: Celebrate Guam's Reefs! Guam's reefs are a valuable treasure! Highlight the beauty, importance, or value of Guam's reefs. For more information see the Celebrate Page. Protect Guam's Reefs! Our reefs are under attack! Help our community understand the threats facing our reefs and/or how to be part of the solution. For more information see the Protect Page. PSAs should be between 15-22 seconds long. Contest Deadline is May 5, 2008. This is the final deadline. Two winners will be selected by the public - right here on the Guam IYOR 2008 website - in April 2008. Two additional winners will be selected by a team of judges from the Guam Coral Reef Initiative and Guam Environmental Education Committee. Winning PSAs will be aired on KUAM throughout the year.
